Luxury Travel by Train in the USA and Abroad
Luxury travel by train is an ever growing trend here in the USA and around the world. There is something so poetic about the sound of the rails as they cut through the night. Hearing that faint whistle fade in and out again across a flat, quiet landscape conjures up fond memories of yellowing paperback books and romantic movies; a time when traveling by rail was not just preferred but necessary due to the infrastructure in countries around the world.

39 Years and Holding
September 3, 2025 One thing that they don’t tell you about living at a beach-side resort is that you can never get a good night of sleep. I woke up to a flash of electric blue that illuminated my room and a crash of thunder that rattled my bed. Another storm was blowing in over Lake Erie. After finally falling back to sleep, the seagulls started screaming and calling to each other just as the sun was about to rise. I walked over to the window and yelled at them through the dirty glass but they just looked at me and then started talking again.

Honeymoon Horror
“You stupid bitch!” I hear the slap across my face even before I feel the horrid sting of his touch. He turned and stormed out of the penthouse as I ran up the stairs to the loft. Curling up in a small, tight ball on the bed I feel the hot tears trying to drown me. I gasp for breath between my cries so hard that my ab muscles begin to cramp. Breathing is even more difficult as I try to stifle the movements.

Little Puppy
I have a tiny dog. Like, a really tiny dog. He is going to be 19 years old in September. I remember his birthday because we share it. It is probably not his real birthday but it is easier to remember this way. He is the biggest pain in the butt but I can’t remember a life without him.

The Color of Noise
The colors of noise can be idealized similarly to the colors of a prism. White is the combination of all and black is a void of all. There is then the range in between. The color prism goes from red to violet and noise spectrum contains such colors as pink, blue and brown, all which affect listeners in different ways.

Dear Victoria, Life must seem pretty good for you now. You’re almost 10! That is a big number for you. I know most of your friends have already reached those double digits but you are almost there! Does it seem like those friends are starting to meet other people and spend more of their time with them instead of you? Are they moving away and mom has to drive you to see them?

How has it survived through changing culture and technology yet, still capture the imagination of its listeners? Let’s find out.

The Perfect Swimsuit
I have a problem. I love swimsuits but can never seem to find ones that fit me ‘just right’. I go through swim suits so quickly. I try to swim at least 3 times a week but the chlorine from the pool makes them fade. On nice weekends, we take the boat out and I swim in the lake. Although there are not chemicals, the suits still stretch out from use.

Well Red
Monday My friend introduced me to a guy who seemed very nice while talking on the phone yesterday. We exchanged email addresses so we could chat during work and saw that he apparently had some follow up questions for me. I opened my email to find an interesting survey.
