Last Breath
"The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window." And it was a good thing it did. Claire was going out of her mind, with the car breaking down in the middle of the forest where there was no signal and Chris' fever going up, his cough getting worse.

Change Starts Within
I try to encourage everyone to lead a more healthy and active lifestyle. It seems though, as the old saying goes: Never a prophet in your land, that people in North America, people in my community, are too blase and jaded to appreciate the values I try to instill. What matters around here are trends, what is popular at the moment. People will spend such time trying to be exceptional, to be seen, to be heard, to make a difference on the outside, as though what matters to them is not their personal growth but outside appreciation.

I only ever had one dog. We met when he was a small puppy. His mother was the neighbor's dog, and surely sensing that her master was about to take her litter away, she had decided to relocate them to take care of them in the wild, pushed by her sense of duty to keep them all together for as long as she could, regardless of the risks she was taking for herself or her offspring.
