URBAN GLAM LIFE
Bio
Urban Glam Life is a brand I set up a few years ago and it has since been evolving into a platform that challenges social boundaries on the perception of Beauty, Body Positivity and For The culture. In short "accepting all body types".

WILL THE CORONA-VIRUS AFFECT THE URBAN MODELLING INDUSTRY ?
A few weeks ago we wrote a blog on the concerns this Corona-virus will have on the music industry. Although many were optimistic things would return to normal our in-depth knowledge of associated industries means we are able to evaluate things from a wider perspective. The music industry is connected to several other industries and what tend to happen is when one or two industries are affected, it has a domino effect on the rest. Nevertheless, lets have a look at the different opinions others have as to what is going on and what is going on.

ASS AND FURIOUS! NOT FAST AND FURIOUS.
The internet never stops surprising me, especially social media. The female figure has always been of interest to me. One because I am attracted to the female figure and the other because of the Body Positivity movement. 10, 20, or 30 years ago you could argue that having a phat ass was not a public point of interest. I remember having a big ass was something to be ashamed of, or be ridiculed about. It was always the Hip Hop movement that reinforced having a big ass was nothing to be ashamed. Fast forward a few years from the hit release "I love Big Butts" by Slick Rick, now everyone loves a big butt, wants a big butt, and will do anything to get one. How times have changed but I am not complaining in this article.

"CELEBRATING ALL BODY TYPES IS WHAT THE INDUSTRY NEEDED"
It a good feeling when you come across a like-minded and intelligent person who potentially shares the same opinions and views as you. For this story I will make the introductions then step out of the way because this wonderful women managed to explain a number of things so well it feels better to let the true writer have the floor. I chose the top image because many females like Danielle suffer from what we call the "Over-thirsty guy". The guy that thinks because he has seen a sexy pose in a photo that gives him every right now to pursue at will. That is not always the case.

HUMANS ARE NOT SIMPLY CANDY
One of the biggest misconceptions of social media is the fact that we tend to judge before we know the individual based off of the photos they take and how they portray themselves. Many of us are not aware of the demons we fight everyday for survival or obstacles many of us are facing. Social Media is just another outlet to advertise, market, promote or do something to just feel good about yourself. Sometimes we should just take social media for what it is and not speculate.

"THE DAY I CAUGHT A TATTOOED AMAZON"
With each foot I took into the vast jungle I could feel I was not alone. I was not sure if I was being tracked which should surely lead to me being dinner or it was just a stray animal which had lost its path. Or could it be a human that was tracking me. Who knows because this is not one of them stories...

BEAUTY THROUGH THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER CAN BE AN ISSUE...
Finding a photo to include for this story was a little difficult as the subject had nothing but mainly upper body photos and hiding those natural breast must be a bit of an issue, so please don’t scrutinize me as being a boob man, I work with what I get and it is is what it is.
