The Pear Tree
The problem with the world today is that people (as a whole) are rewarded and praised for things that they don't need praising for. They also get the same treatment as those who actually do work to obtain their goals. At one point, having a decent work ethic was a common thing and everyone worked for the goals that they had wanted to achieve. However, somewhere along the thing, those who didn't get the same attention as those who earned it, were pitied upon into receiving equal attention.

The meaning of Marigolds
There were once two good friends. Their names were Theodore and Nathan. Despite the fact that they had fought consistently over the most trivial of issues, they still kept their friendship strong. They decided to their love of arguing for wages against one another to make a sport of it. One of the arguments they had, was about the symbolism of a flower. A Marigold to be precise. Nathan said that its just a flower that has great symbolism towards the sun. Theodore believed that it had several symbolic means, with the symbolism of the sun being one of them. Nathan had told Theodore that he was crazy. There is no way a flower can have multiple meanings.

The ox's strength
Once upon a time, there lived a being known as the Jade Emperor. He served as one of China's most popular deities and has been referred to as , The Ruler of the heavens. He was in the middle of creating the calendar (which we later will call The Lunar Calendar) to help the humans of earth mark dates for festivals and decide on periods for such imperative events (such as weddings, funerals and birthdays).

The Girl with a shark tattoo
My name is Paul Brush. I am a celebrated artist the world over. Though I have experience in many different types of art, I specialize in realistic paintings. I have been ever since I was a kid. When I was 6, I had found that I had enjoyed doing it. By the time I was 10, I realized that I wanted to pursue the arts for a living. My parents (though they had loved me a great deal) believed that this may not the best venue for my future career and should just be seen as a hobby. They say this because there is going to be a lot of competition for this career and no guarantee that I will have anything to show for my endeavors. As stubborn as I was (and still am), I had decided to pursue this as my career.

The Joy of Writing
There is absolutely no question about it. The human race is filled with many things that have been known to induce stress. Things like political discourse, rush hour traffic and the interaction of some less than favorable folks to name a few. Some of it can not be helped and must be dealt with. Things like finances, inner family turmoil, diet and weight loss are but a few examples of stress that can not be avoided.

The Truth
Every individual is different. We have our own ethnicities, sexual affiliations, sexual identifications, our own religious practices, our own political preferences and we all have our own walk of life. That being said, we all have four things in common. We all need oxygen to breathe, we all need a source of income to support our own way of life, we all need sustenance and we all have hobbies that we enjoy doing. The last two of these cannot be done without the hard-working individuals who work at retail stores.

The Locket
My life wasn't exactly what you call, a normal way of life. For you see, I am a survivor of the Vodic plague. The Vodic Plague was a plague like non I've never seen, and a plague I hope to never see again. It was a plague that changed the course of humanity forever. The Vodic Plague originally came from a South American labratory. Brazil, specifically. One of the scientists caught it and spread it when they traveled to the states to speak with some of their colleagues. Shortly after, the Vodic plague spread to other parts of North America.
