The story I am going to tell you today, is a ghost story. It is my own personal experience that to this day, I have never shared with anyone. And now…I am going to share it with you. So, sit back and get comfortable, this is a long story.
I live in a renovated apartment in Northern Massachusetts with my boyfriend AL (boyfriend of almost four years), and three of my favorite pets: A blue tongued skink named Remus (After Professor Lupin in Harry Potter), a fourteen year old female cat named Chicken (We did not choose the name), and a kitten named Oliver (Named after the kitten in the Disney film “Oliver & Company). The cats, my dear friends, are what this particular sample is about.
The Japanese say, that if the flower is to be beautiful, it must be cultivated. However, there is no way to hold something that is truly beautiful; not without consequences. There is a reason roses have thorns. And a thorn defends a rose, harming only those who would steal the blossom. But he who dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose, for the rose speaks of love silently, in a language known only to the heart.
Senior year. The last year of high school that every student dreads before they go off to college; and for good reason. I have always lived with anxiety, and I have always been shy. I get apprehensive about everything. Sometimes, I literally do not know why I am anxious. I just am and no one seems to understand that.
