Rotterdam, A Home Away from HomeTop Story - July 2017
This past weekend I did some travelling once more, this time to Rotterdam, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Right now I’m at a crossroad in my life, perhaps another post soon will explain it, but for now, let’s focus on Rotterdam. But all I can say is that this city, that reminded me of both Lisbon and of New York, did wonders for my soul!

Me and Cinema...It's Complicated
Like many of you, I like going to the movies. What a shocker...(a little-known secret I also enjoy other things like watching television and stuff like that but don't go around letting anyone). I connect some special and fun memories with cinema, and movies in general; from sleepovers with friends where we saw utter garbage like "Superhero Movie", "Disturbia", and those nights where we saw movies that completely changed my mind like "Fight Club" (yeah I know that this makes me a basic bro...but I really love it). Same can be said about those lazy Sundays where me and my family just potato couched our way into all sorts of genres.

Open Letter to My Generation
I'm writing this letter with hopes that those who suffer alone or are deemed lesser can get a bit of piece of mind! My point is that many of us are lost, within many degrees of lost, many of us suffer from demons that get ignored and go unchecked, sometimes because we can't handle them alone, most times because we don't reach out.

The Wickedness of A.I.
Like with most things in life “There's no rose without a thorn”, in other words, there are going to be some negative points to this tale, and they don't exactly sound very reassuring, quite the contrary. Some of these have even been the target of works of fiction, TV series, games, podcasts, you name it, it has been done; movies like The Matrix, The Terminator, AI, 2001 space odyssey, and the movie adaptation of Marvel's Avengers (where the main villain is a being of "evil" artificial intelligence). Almost every apocalyptic scenario, every "machine turn on the humans that created them" scenario has been covered one way or another. These works of fiction can to some extent be seen as cautionary tales to what may come if ethics and caution are put aside.
