Social Media Gave Birth to My Brand!
Originating a brand from social media has been in trend within the last five years. A trend that’ll continue for the year 2022. Hopping on the trend was not something I used to think about before this year, however, I’m proud that I did. Out of curiosity, I created my brand at the beginning of 2021. What has happened since then:

A Standing Message to Recruiters
To ALL Recruiters, I understand that the winter season represents a stressful time for employees, management, and executives. Fighting to the new year is like trying to finish the last week of high school. It's unpredictable, time-consuming, and stressful. However, I'm noticing a trend implemented by recruiters such as yourselves that represent you in one way: you are poor at communication!

My Debt-Free Journey: 2021 in Review
My article How I Paid Off 3 Loans with No Income showed you how impactful this debt-free journey means to me. If you’re like me, you understand how much going to college to better your life was embedded in your brain by your family. Without realizing it, I learned how normal having debt was being raised in a Black household. Credit cards, cash-advance places, medical bills; it did not matter. As long as you can make the payments, then that’s what matters most. But as I got older, I realized that having a 5-figure debt to my name is ludicrous, student loans disgust me! I mean, to live in a society where the rich stays rich by keeping lower class people in revolving debt through their “cogs in the machine” system is bizarre and predatory. I wished I had the knowledge back in 2015 when I graduated high school. But you cannot live in past mistakes. You learn, reflect, and correct. I refuse to remain a ‘cog in the machine’. From now, I made a vow to start making my own rules, and it all starts with this journey.

What’s The Hype About FIRE?
Well First, What is Financial Independence? Let’s keep this in mind first: There is no FIRE movement without discussing financial independence! Having the ability of work flexibility or being work-optional are cornerstone benefits worth aiming for. These days, many people are coming to the conclusion that working 40–60 hours a week for 40+ years is no way to live a full, enjoyable life. To combat this, people will need to build their wealth. Acquiring assets build your wealth over time, which in turn, creates financial freedom. Assets are investments that provide the required passive income needed to be free from waiting on a traditional paycheck.

Investing $500 with No Help
Before I started to expand my knowledge and analytical skills on how to invest in stocks and ETFs, the only place I thought I could increase my money was in my traditional savings account. A very small interest payment of $1.47 throughout the 2020 year changed my position on using the market to build wealth. Why? Historically, keeping all of your money in a traditional savings account when inflation occurs makes your money depreciate, in other words:

Calling All the Bots
I’m taking a moment away from my niche writing to address a serious plague in the Medium community: Fake Readers! I personally call them bots, some call them fireballers. No matter what they’re called, I’m suggesting a serious consequence for wasting the time of us REAL creators! For some of us, we spend minutes, hours, and even days of our free time coming up with masterpiece writing that makes us feel good. For others, this is a means of income and/or building their credibility as a writer. Regardless for your purpose for writing, you shouldn’t be dealing with this s***!

This Proposal Could Cause Chaos
Just this morning, I stumbled upon a story that has fallen through the cracks in what we know to be a part of American capitalism. It took a random Facebook post and a Google search for me to read into what President Biden wants to do with our bank accounts, and how the IRS will enforce it!

How I Paid Off 3 Student Loans with No Income!
The fate of federal student loans before Oct 1st gets here remains in limbo. How Much is Vegas Worth?
Fun travels are getting back to normal and everyone could use a break. One of the biggest travel destinations this summer includes Sin City itself. However, let's be realistic: Outside is starting to become expensive again and as much as you want to have fun, also consider what's in your wallet.
