A Hip-Hopera: DizzE B
To kick off the series of The Valley's Finest, let's take a dive to Fowler, Ca. This Fresno County City is the home of Rapper DizzE B, an artist who brings out the nostalgia of the early 2000s with modern language of slang. What you might assume is just some ordinary buster off of SoundCloud actually proves to be very proficient in his skills. He has something that none of these hacks have, and that's just talent.
Uh-Oh It's Jojo
R&B/Soul princess Jojo has done it again. Yes, she has officially got fans begging for her big screen return. It has officially been six years since the songstress had her debut in a feature film. Her fans were even more angered that her earlier films did not garner her awards for her acting skills, being a representation of the Hip-Hop community and an Urban Pop resurrector, along with fellow soul singer Paula De'Anda, and being held personally responsible for caring on late beloved R&B Princess Aaliyah's legacy, Jojo really has her work cut out for her, so it makes perfect sense why fans are so distraught. Jojo brought the Urban Hip-Hop community to the love of wholesome family movies, to crazy drunk biopics, to teeny bubbly movies. Jojo has yet to see the movie role we want her in.
CISK0: A True Artist of 'The Valley's Finest' in Hip-Hop
From the edge of Bakersfeild to the edge of Clovis, California's Central Valley holds many talents, and they have much to show for in the music game, let alone the genre of Hip-Hop. All of this and more will launch a new series, called The Valley's Finest, which follow the journeys of the California Central Valley's independent musical artist who are in start of their career, and on their way for success. One journey we record is one of true raw talent, that proves once again that the underground artists have actual skills, compared to artists like Drake (no shade intended, but the boy is a poser). To talk realness now, let's talk CISK0. I know what you're thinking, and it's not from the song by WAR that goes, "Cisco kid was friend of mine," but CISK0, with a zero at the end. The CISK0 article will be the first to debut the new series, The Valley's Finest, and we are very happy to share his story, thanks to David B. at Teal fanbase. David B. tell us, "This guy can spit. Like damn, you really don't find talent like that anymore, thanks to him helping understand that even the most underrated independent artist has more skill in their left big toe than most artists have in their whole career."
Jllama: The Next Voice of the Young People
Now, it's really not a secret when you hear the men of Hip-Hop are in trouble, because of numerous reasons. If we go down the list of errors men have made as rappers, and I'm not even going to count their prison sentences, but we can count their feuds, their arrogant behaviors, their need for attention off of the press, and the fact that the charts are not treating them well without them causing publicity stunts. It seems lately only the original trailblazers and trendsetters with their marks in the game are the only ones who are managing to kill it right now, mostly because rappers nowadays make a few good hits, and vanish after the next one replaces them, or an OG rapper shuts them down.
