Old memories.
When I think back to my teenage years I feel sad. I’ve lost touch with so many people who I use to call friends. I’m sad because we don’t keep in touch anymore, I have tried to keep the friendships but they are meant to work both ways and I always find myself to be the one who always reaches out.

Searching for who I am.
Being someone in a world with billions of people makes me wonder if I’m where I’m meant to be and If I am who I’m meant to be. Trying to find who you are can be hard but I guess I’ll start with a road trip. Around the world, in a small caravan. Maybe If I find a place to call home, then I can find out who I am.

The lifeguard who saved me. Top Story - February 2022
When I was a young girl at the age of 11, I was swimming at the beach with my mum, dad, older brother and younger sister. It was our Friday Ritual, it’s just what we did. Every Friday after school we would all pack into our white Toyota Corolla and head down to the beach. We would take snacks and sit on the beach with each other, eating, laughing and just enjoying being together.

A little unsteady.
When I was 18 I left high school to become an early childhood teacher. I worked hard and completed my Cert 3 and Diploma hoping to become the best friend and educator to all the beautiful little children that came through the centre but I was so very wrong.
