The Scavenger Hunt
“Get off your phone! You know you’re grounded.” “But Mom!” “I mean it! Get off your phone now before I take it away and help me clean. It’s raining outside and it’s a perfect day to get some much needed spring cleaning done in this old house.” Tracy, the teenage girl frowned. Her beautiful blue eyes that once sparkled showed only pain and sorrow these days. “Ok Mom, I just miss Grandma really bad today.” “I know sweetie, I do too, but the house won’t clean itself now will it? For real though, there’s cobwebs hanging in corners and I don’t remember the last time this place was dusted.” “Okay okay, fine,” Tracy said, rolling her eyes. “I’ll start in the basement. Why don’t you start in the living room?” Tracy let out a big sigh. “Sure. Fine. Whatever. Let’s just get this over with.”
