If I could plant a flower for every time I miss you, I could walk through my garden forever. The flowers blossoming and growing just as my love grew,
You left behind a broken heart, You left behind happy memories, Incomprehensible was the thought of us apart, You had my heart with its lock and keys.
A thousand words couldn't bring you back, I know this because I tried. Neither could a thousand tears, I know this because I cried.
An unashamed and unwavering love to you I feel, As if my heart pounding in my chest tries to break free of its seal. A love that burns so intensely and so bright,
