Harlem Artist R3FRENCE Releases His First Single of 2020 âApocaloveâ
From R3FRENCE Thank God for artists. I wanted the cover art for my upcoming single to have a warmth. MayBe So was about trauma, but Apocalove is about trust. Through her gorgeous oil painting, @mdexna_ is helping capture that. And youâll be able to see the finished product while youâre listening to the new track this Wednesday. These lyrics were not written during the pandemicâbut we could all use a warm hug right now. Hopefully, this song will feel like one. Finally, we can love again. Iâm thinking of you like normal. Let this preview keep you warm until our meeting can be formal.

Rising Actor & Filmmaker Amir Royale Releases New Short Film 'Please Stop Calling Me'
From Amir Royale I made âPLEASE STOP CALLING MEâ originally with the intention of creating the story of a break-up. But, somehow, I quite miraculously came across a story that seemed to cause a deeper wound for me. I am not queer nor bisexualâand in this creation Iâm in no way trying to speak for or against that crowd. Truthfully, I know many artisans, creators and beautiful beings my age (and older) that happen to be LGBTQ and I respect and love them with all my heart. Yet, in a weird way, this story came to me by accident through a simple question: "How wrong is cheating in the midst of insecurities?" I have my own personal stance on the answer, one I donât really want to state, but I more so wanted this film to hear an audienceâs answer as well.

Multi-Talented Queens, NYC Artist, Actor Amir Royale Releases Second 2020 Single âHold It Downâ
From Amir Royale âHold It Down" is something I stopped consciously saying to myself a long time ago. Is that fair? No â maybe it isn't. But, I never take the time to concern myself with whether or not it's okay to be everyone's rock. I've came to terms with it. I've been the glue that holds circles together even when I never wanted to be. I've left and seen things crumble or lose things of substance â projects that I KNOW deserve to be seen by the world. I've been the kid that everybody either looked up to, looked down on for not being around long enough, or the atrophic object for other people's successes. Yet, that's my thing about all this. If I don't shout my homies out. Who will? If I don't show you all how powerful my family is and shall CONTINUE to be before they leave the Earth â which one of you will speak their beauty back into existence? If I don't keep loving the people I've lost, will they still get that love elsewhere? If not me, then who? If not y'all â I'm taking all the injustices, the beautification, and infamy to the grave with me. Trust...

Dynamic, Multi-Talented Creator Amir Royale Releases Emotionally Powerful Single âPeople Sayâ
From Amir Royale âPeople Sayâ is a testament to a different me. A different place and time from today that not only myself â but everyone fathoms â at least once. It doesnât exist today, it doesnât exist tomorrow. Maybe itâs been a year since itâs eventsâmaybe the events are currently happening â maybe they are yet to happen or never will. The confusion of it all is the reason why I'm showing it to you. Itâs the reason why I'm alone and by myself with the tools I've always thought could best help me explain what keeps happening to me. And as always, from an honest place â I love you for taking the time to be here and listen. At least for right now. Tah, tah â my darlings.
