You've got your mates round. You've all had a few drinks. You wanna play a game to have a good giggle. My go0to is something I call, "Re-Cast." Just pick a popular show or movie, and make your dream cast. You can add some drinking into the rules for good measure. But there is hours of fun to be had. Especially if everyone disagrees, then it becomes an insightful hypothetical debate that really means nothing at all. But it's great fun.
After my last list focusing on Doctor Who, (https://futurism.media/doctor-who-10-best-episodes-of-the-modern-era), it was pointed out to me by a friend that I've been shining the torch of Red Dwarf far brighter than Doctor Who over the years. So I thought I'd do a list for all you Dwarfers out there.
Doctor Who is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. And when I say guilty, I really mean it. It's hardly a TV show that someone who loves cinema should pay much attention to. And it's filled to the brim with dud episodes that a binge watcher could happily skip over. But for every mediocre/bad episode, there is one that is really too good to be a Doctor Who episode. These are the episodes that make the whole show worth watching. And why wouldn't there be? With the writing talents of Steven Moffat and Russell T Davies there are bound to be some good episodes in there. The show is fun. And that's all you should want out of the things you enjoy, they should put a smile on your face and help you kill 45 minutes of your day.
With Halloween fast approaching, it's the perfect time to get comfy on the sofa and enjoy some all hallows eve goodness. Here are some films set around the holiday to either scare or impress you.
Tension descends, the more time passes.
A pity. A shame. A pretentious grin.
