1. Hoia Bacui Forest, Romania The forest gained notoriety in the 1960's when a biologist snapped some photographs of what appeared to be an alien UFO hovering above the trees. Interest in the area grew from there and the forest has become one of the world's most active paranormal hot spots in the world.
