Bio
A picture tells a thousand words, and a thousand words can paint a beautiful picture.
I have been a writer all of my life. It has been like an anchor for me to release emotions, process ideas, and escape into a world of fantasy.

Midnight Train To…
RUMBLE. JOLT. SMACK. “Ahrg!” I woke up with my face smacking on a seat in front of me. I opened my eyes but everything was blurry. I applied pressure from my hand, and looked down to see that it was covered in blood. “Shit!” I muttered. I looked around and saw that I was on a train. I don’t even know how I got on here…. Another odd occurrence was that there was no one else on this car. The train was going a phenomenal speed. I could feel the shaking. It was hard to move.

Fight Like Hell (Part 3)
“WHO ARE YOU!” I shouted. He was coming closer keeping a steady pace. I couldn’t run away. I felt taken by surprise like a deer in headlights. Barley started to bark and growl. We both started running away searching for a hiding spot. “STOP!” He yelled. I continued to run. He also began to run. My chest was panting. I hated the pain of thinking that I was safe, and having to protect myself again. I could feel the trauma rising up in my chest as the adrenaline from fight or flight mode filled my body.

Fight Like Hell (Part 2)
Being by the lake felt like paradise. I finally feel like I can be free after everything that I have been through. It was like I had been running without stopping for months on end. I felt like Forest Gump, but I knew I couldn't turn around and go back. Even though it was a quiet place, and my body was relaxed, I felt a great sense of unrest.

Fight Like Hell (Part 1)
I stood alone at the end of the lake. I looked out over the mountains and the partly cloudy sky. The sun beamed down making the water look like small sparkles of light. My tent stood a few meters away. My dog Barley came trotting towards me. He sat beside my legs, joining me as we both looked over the beautiful landscape. We had finally made it, and we were finally safe.

The Cabin Holds All Secrets
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. It was a dark and moonlit night. There was a foggy haze surrounding the area from the drizzling rain. I had just come back to town after many years of running away. I was apprehensive about returning home. The place always felt off in my opinion, but I felt it was my only option.

Walking Down Memory Lane
IF YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR HISTORY YOU ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT. This was always the phrase used when growing up around my Pop-Pop and my dad who are complete history buffs. These two men impacted my life to become the woman that I am today. As we grow older, we sometimes forget key moments of our childhood that shaped us. I want to take a walk down memory lane and explore some of these forgotten times. I am happy that memories exist because we can always go back and relive them.
