Groovy's Game
Groovy. How we got him. My son Ben lost his dearest friend because of a car crash. His friend, Brandon, was drunk. He drove the wrong way on the interstate and had a head-on collision. Ben was heartbroken. For months, he did little. He was very sad.

(Not quite) Gone, but (Sort of) Forgotten
How and why I retired at 64 is a longer story than I want to put here. I'll just start with writing that I only "retired" to get enough money to fix the house and get rid of the snakes. Rattlesnakes. They came as an answer to my years of prayers for help to get rid of the mice. God is good. I couldn't afford an exterminator, so when I prayed for help, he send snakes. A bit "Biblical", but I asked for help.

Am I Too Old?
It occurs to me, from time to time, that I may have waited too long after being widowed, to start up a new relationship. I heard that there are advantages to the single life. Sole possession of the remote control being one. I think Sandra Bullock says it in one of her movies. Apologies if I'm wrong.

Landrew's Big Discovery
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.” On the other hand, if you were in a vacuum of space, you wouldn’t be screaming. You wouldn’t be breathing, so you couldn’t scream. You’d be a frozen, dead thing. A sweet treat icicle for some horrid alien.
