Battle of the Bloodline
I woke up lying flat on my back in a bed of wet powder, my eyes still fluttering from the bright daylight. The tips of the iced over trees seemed to touch the cloudless, blue sky. At first, I had no worry of the moment as I listened to the bird’s chirp and fly over my face, then I wondered. Where am I? I wasn’t in the coffee shop anymore. The weird guy I was talking to wasn’t anywhere to be seen. Bolting to a sitting position, something about these surroundings were familiar, as if from a dream.

Battle of the Bloodline
“Okay,” Zane said flatly. “Now that that's over there's something you need to learn.” He was really getting on my nerves now. We had just lost Logan, and he did not seem to have a care in the world. As if he could not tell I wasn't going to be letting her death go anytime soon, he thinks I should have a lesson. We finally reached an old, rickety barn in the middle of the forest. As if that wasn’t convenient. Zane swung the door open aggressively as if he had been waiting until this moment to take his anger out. He stepped inside for a moment before I heard faint hissing sounds. The curiosity got the best of me. I poked my head in. The overwhelming musty smell of sitting wet wood wandered into my nostrils. Zane was lighting torches. The cloth wrapped around it were so dry, in less than a second the flames engulfed it leaving the handle untouched.

Working with Resin
Hobby of year, RESIN 2021! Honestly, I hoped on this tread before I even realized it was trending. It was shortly after I started when I saw one person after another posting about resin and then I realized that it is a growing trend and would be difficult to compete in originality.

Say CHEE!
From the streets of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, began the unique chain called TOM + CHEE. Carb cravers, fast metabolisms, and kids of any age love the crispy, cheesy original grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup. That’s what they’re known for, but with a twist. This may sound totally unoriginal, but the rest of their menu will have you wondering if you’ve entered the mind of a 5 year old in the kitchen.

Starting a Small Business
No doubt with COVID it’s been hard on the small businesses. I say this as an understatement. Over the course of the last year I’ve helped my favorite small businesses by purchasing an item or two to help keep them going. There are so many around the Cincinnati area that it’s hard to help every single one.

In the Corner
Some might think this is a little cliche, however, when you have the blend of a comfy couch, a well brewed cup of coffee and the world at your finger tips you might find it comforting knowing that you can just relax and take every day with a grain of salt.

Understanding Manual Mode
When you first get your DSLR you’ll probably put it on Auto, point, shoot, done; you have an image. Yes, this dose give you a photo, but you have almost no control over how the camera takes it. Putting your camera in Auto means that you’re giving all controls over for the camera to assess what the camera sees and trust it put the right combination of settings together to expose your image well. Sure, this can be used for the sake of take a family photo while using the timer, or if you’re just starting out or have no interest in the mechanics behind what makes a great image.

Making Christmas Special
We all know how rough this year has been, but that doesn’t mean Christmas isn’t just as special. Families and friend won’t be Ake to gather like we have in the past, but let’s take this opportunity to be thankful for what we all have and not a grinch about what we don’t get for Christmas this year.

4. Battle of the Bloodline
Need to catch up? Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4: Cupping my hand, I scooped water up to my mouth to quench the thirst which was trapped in my throat. It felt as if I swallowed a spoonful of peanut butter in one gulp. The cool liquid ran down my cheeks and my nose dropping one after another back into the pond. The ripples collided but continued to spread until the rings disappeared into smooth glass.

Mistakes Beginner Filmmakers (and Photographers) Make #7...Video Composition
So some of you might be wondering if there really is a difference between composing a photo and composting for video. In short, yes there is. There’s slightly different rules when it comes to composing your frame while filming. Since the camera and your subject or subjects would be moving you’re not always going to have them perfectly in frame, and some cinematographers choose to be creative with how they want to portrait their characters.
