There are a lot of great anime series to check out on Netflix. That being said, you better make time for Violet Evergarden.
My roommates and I had an anime night recently. We all pick a show we’re interested in, and we watch the first episode of each to see how we feel about it. One of my roommates got us to watch The Rising of the Shield Hero. Shield Hero was one of the biggest anime hits of 2019, and I was eager to give it a try. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if I would continue after the first episode. I’ve never been a big fan of the whole game-world type of anime, like Sword Art Online, Overlord, and No Game No Life. I struggle to get into those kinds of shows, so I was nervous about how I would feel about Shield Hero. Surprisingly, I got invested within the first few episodes, and I understand why it’s such a popular show.
When I first heard of Demon Slayer, I wasn’t really excited about it. If anything, I got annoyed at cons at the amount of cosplay I saw for this show. How good could it be? Over the course of a few months, all the Demon Slayer tweets, cosplays, articles, etc. wore me down. Finally, I decided to watch Demon Slayer.
I’ve never worked from home for this long before. It’s been two weeks, and with tons of offices closed indefinitely due to COVID-19, working from home seems to be the norm for a bit longer. It’s been strange not being in an office setting, and that can be a stressful disruption in life. You might be less productive, or unhappy being cooped in the same spot, or feel off your game in general. I’ve had some moments like these, and I’m happy to say I have a few tips to make working from home a little less painful.
It’s a very stressful time in the world. With COVID-19 keeping everyone in their houses, it’s easy to go stir crazy. I knew this would happen to me quickly, and I’ve been preparing ways to keep myself occupied while I stay in my apartment all day. Instead of stressing too much about this virus, here’s a list of things you can do while you spend time indoors.
I’ll just start by saying every opening for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is awesome. There isn’t a weak one in the bunch. Even number nine is a BANGER. I’ve wanted to rank the Jojo openings for some time, and I’ve finally solidified my list enough to actually write it. That being said, these are my opinions, and as a result, I’m sure there are bound to be rankings that make people unhappy (I’m so sorry for number seven everyone). With that disclaimer, let’s get right down to it.
