Why In The Line Of Fire is an important film
First time I put on In the line of Fire, I didn't take it into comprehension or have the interest of how intelligent this film is. I mostly just put it on for my mother to watch, and then disregarded the film. Years later, when I decided to watch it with the interest I didn't have before. To sit down and comprehend most of the dark material or serious political subject matter. It became one of my favorite films. When I did my research for the production on the film, I found a couple reasons why this is a underrated gem among the other movies. I won’t reveal too many of the important plot details to keep the intrigue to tell.

In our state of stress when something altering happens, we turn to others for answers for comfort, not everyone can say the exact thing that happens in a twist of events. I've included certain scenarios that some people can relate to. Some of them are my own experiences to pertain to this exact range of situations.

Is Junji Ito just "gross" horror?
I happened to purusing through YouTube to find some Junji Ito stories to read, and I found this video about how overrated Junji Ito was, I was fair and I watched the video on his stance. The main point was that his work was just "gross". I could understand the fact because of most of Junji Ito's work does involve some uncomfortable moments of what happens to someone, a terrifying transformation, or an unfathomable demise to a character. As a fan of Junji Ito's I immediately was on the fence about this argumentative fact, but I am a neutral person, I see this from both sides.

Modern covers you should listen to
1. Gods and Monsters by Jessica Lange (Originally by Lana Del Rey) This was specifically covered for the show, American Horror Story in its fourth season called, "Freak Show". Throughout the season, there has been numerous covers by the cast of the show. But when veteran actress did her cover of Gods and Monsters, with a haunting melody, carnival music, and considering the character that sang the song, it was a perfect fit. I've never known Jessica Lange as a singer, and to see her perform various covers throughout the show was amazing. Gods and Monsters had a perfect parallel to the horror ambiance of the show and for the plot of the episode where Elsa Mars sings this song to perform on Halloween. Elsa Mars is a performer with a deadly determination to become a Hollywood starlet. The original Gods and Monsters is a song about a girl making toxic decisions and not caring of the outcome. This would be a song that Elsa Mars would sing, because it does have a semblance to her the character's story as well as the glamour in this song.

The change in the Cosplay community
In 2007 when I got into this hobby, I was excited to enjoy a hobby that more then playing dress up, for the next ten years it would serve as something that helped me get out of my comfort zone, go to new places, make new friends, and become an important factor in keeping me busy through the rough times. But in the past years, I've noticed some dramatic changes to happen, that has made me retract from the community year by year. I still enjoy the costumes, and the transformation into a character, but the dramatics of the other individuals. I can't abide by it, nor endorse it. I've just continued to distance myself even though I miss the groups, and gatherings. I miss being able to ask a friend of mine what character they were going to dress up as for the convention weekend. Now I've not only grown apart from it, I've purposely limited my interactions and involvements. It's not just me that has noticed this, many individuals have experienced harsh toxicity in various cosplay groups. Why did a fun hobby turn hellish and more dramatic then a talk show? Now before I go on, an important disclaimer: this does not mean every cosplayer is toxic, heavens no. I personally know some amazing, humble, and kind people that are in the community that I am still close with. But there are some that have changed that I have witnessed first hand as well as some of my friends that have unfortunately experienced this change.

When the mind races without a way to explain to others in a feeling of wanting to fend of the demons by ourselves, this is a selection of songs that have gotten me through those times to find peace. Even if you aren't having an anxiety episode now, these five songs could be able to help in the moment that it happens and you need something to calm the nerves.

Girls: The Modern Mess Masterpiece
There's been a lot of shows to come out in the past decade with a modern take on presenting twenty-somethings. Girls is one of those that went the extra mile in cringe commentary, uncomfortable the relatable situations, anxiety in ambition, and how life really works one mess at time.

Songs about Betrayal
The tough slice of life when we feel someone has wronged, and the different answers depending on someone's situation, there could be salvaged to the pain. Sometimes it doesn't and there is no way to fix the betrayal. It's a sting that's hard to express how exactly it feels when someone we trusted has become a traitor. These songs have portrayed that definition in that moment when it happens and there needs to be a musical comfort from it.

Army Of One: The story that safety isn't in numbers
This was a story I strayed away from just from the tiny image I saw, it alarmed me from the image of two people stitched together. Any sinister story Junji Ito crafts into a cultivating tale of terror. We never know what to expect. This one took many different turns to the ending that was sewn into our psyche.

It's not the Same
Attraction. Relationships. It's not the same anymore. The ways have changed. I'll explain from my point of view because the frustrations have gotten to me about who doesn't listen to what my answer is. It's on deaf ears. I’m not speaking in an antagonist way against men, I do see the other side and I’m not a prudish feminist about that matter. It’s a neutral commentary about what I experienced.

Ivy Levan: The Dame of the Decade
When I watched the movie Spy (2015), During the opening credits, there was a song very reminiscent of a bond song, fitting for the movie. When I got home I had to find out what that song was, and who sang this song. I found out it was and I had a plethora of songs she made to discover from this modern-day dame.
