“ACHOO” What it Stands For and Why We Sneeze
Achoo... Achoo. “Again? Really?”I think to myself. Ugh why do we randomly sneeze? It seems to be a rather simple concept that everyone just accepts because it’s just a sneeze but there’s actually a lot behind exactly why we sneeze. Just like breathing is an involuntary action, sneezing is also an involuntary reaction yet often unexpected.

What 7UP was REALLY Meant for is Shocking!
The famous and popular soda currently named 7UP was created 2 weeks before the Wall Street crash of 1929. The insane fact about the soda which was then called “Bib- Label Lithiated Lemon Lime soda” is that one of its 7 ingredients was lithium. In 1948 its name was shortened to just 7UP. The manufacturers marketed it as a mood stabilizing drink. It was actually patented as a mood stabilizing medicine product. Crazy I know but the story and origin gets more unbelievable.

Ever Feel So Stressed When Someone Doesn’t Text Back?
Sometimes there is no worse feeling to someone who has ocd or anxiety than writing ✍️ a text to someone and waiting for a response back. It’s like watching a pot that never boils or hearing every tick on a watch yet not moving anywhere.

Sexy Beach Encounter
His intoxicating voice echoes in the distance, stopping me in my tracks. The smell of cologne getting stronger as he comes slowly toward me. My mind and body intrigued by this mystery man. I stand in the sand trying to catch a glimpse as he walks by gracefully. Sneaking a peak, I see a 6 foot man in blue bathing suit shorts with a chiseled chest and light brown wavy hair singing to himself beautifully as he walks down the shoreline with no care in the world. Having been years since I saw such a gorgeous sight, my heart raced at the thought of him. Wishing I could somehow catch up to him and make some excuse to engage in conversation. Before I could even get the chance to find a way to get his attention, he gracefully entered into the water. Seeming to be alone, I had to think fast. Being on vacation for only a week, it could be my only chance to meet this man god. I decide to rid of all my inhibitions and get into the water. Wearing a cute bikini and sunglasses on my head I slowly swim towards him as if I was just casually taking a dip in the ocean.

Everyone Needs a “Super Human” in Their Life
Over 15 years ago I had battled a series of 7 surgeries over a 5 year period. It not only took a toll on me physically but definitely mentally as well. I had gone from surgeon to surgeon to surgeon with each surgery ending in failure. After exhausting all local viable options in New York, I flew to Mayo Clinic in Florida to hopefully put my surgical woes to rest. Luckily, after 6 unsuccessful attempts, a mentor of the surgeon from Florida (who practiced medicine in NYC) performed what was thankfully my last surgery. It was a long 11 month recovery with a nurse at my home every morning.

Labels Can Ruin Lives
Labels Can Ruin Lives As young as the age of 3 believe it or not I knew I was different. Of course at that age I didnt know what “different” necessarily meant in the sense of the word. I just knew I was different than all the other little girls.

Stigmas of mental illness
Stigmas of Mental Illness As far as I can remember, I was always an eclectic individual. I wore colorful clothes as a child and teenager. I beat to my own drum and had my own quirks. When it came to school, I bonded with my teachers rather than the other students my own age. I had a very hard time communicating. I was always very anxious. Don’t get me wrong, I was in the top of my class academically and in 11 clubs and activities in my senior year but I still had internal issues.
