Collecting Cards and Sleeving Thoughts
Being someone with a thousand and one hobbies, I had to stop for a moment and think about which activity helps me find inner peace. As you may have guessed, I do enjoy writing quite a bit, but my brain is constantly working when I write. Hence, it is not something I do to wind down. In fact, for most activities I do, my mind stays active. To play games, to keep up with the story in a book or a movie while inevitably trying to guess where the plot is headed, and even when I draw. I do love all of these activities and am quite passionate about each one of them, but they aren’t my go-to activity when I need to just calm down and quieten my, often, loud mind.
