Climate Change
What is climate change?
Climate change refers to the long-term changes in temperature, precipitation, wind patterns, and other measures of climate that occur over several decades or longer, mainly as a result of human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. This is causing Earth's average surface temperature to rise, leading to a wide range of impacts, such as rising sea levels, more frequent and intense heat waves, and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation.
