Rosemary D Hunter
Bio
Call me Rose, it's shorter and easier, also you can't offend me, I have been called worse! I love my cats, my child and my husband to be. I like horror, but can't write it and I do comedy mainly when I am anxious, so quite a lot of the time

Film Review: Elvis
Before I talk about the film, I want to mention that I spent a lot of time with my grandad growing up. He is now eighty-three and much to my heart-ache did not want to come to the cinema with me to see this biopic with me due to the news that he watches four times a day, terrifying him, about Covid-19 cases, monkey-pox, muggers, murderers and generally saying what a scary place the world is.

Jealousy & Oblivion
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. However, you can see a scream and imagine the fear, the terror and then the worst part is the fixed form on their face as they float off into the starry abis of the galaxy, where their loved ones will never go to pay their respects. Do you know what they get? They get a letter, usually between three to six months later that explains that their loved one broke the rules and was found guilty of treason and therefore, put to death in the middle of space billions of lightyears away from them.

Daddy
When I was married, my ex-husband said he hated people over five calling their parents 'mummy or daddy'. I was brought up by my stepfather, who I usually called by his first name or abbreviated name until that point because in private there was nothing he could do about it and I sometimes had my own small rebellions against my controlling husband, just to get me through the day.

Why do you?
Being worried on a daily basis is one thing, but imagine anything and everything to do with weddings being absolutely terrifying! Honestly, the kindest thing someone can do, is not invite me, let me send a card with money in and wish you well from home or another trusted environment.

The Draconian Family
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. I didn’t even believe in such things. However, Lucas Draconian turned up during my last year at the Valley high school and I had to fall head over heels for him, his eyes, his flawless skin and red hair. Since when was red hair attractive on a potential boyfriend? I honestly couldn’t say, but everything about Lucas was damn hot!

Do teenagers still read?
Can I be 'real' a second? Do young people say that? I am honestly, just wondering if teen/ coming of age fiction is still a 'thing'? Not to show my age, though it will be pretty obvious when I mention book series such as The Princess Diaries and Tracy Beaker, but I am wondering if there is still a call for our teenagers, to actually find time to sit and read for enjoyment?

Free to be me
Deep breath for me, this is still a thing, family members, who think that their way of life is the greatest and only way to be. At the age of nineteen, I was done with my great aunt pushing me, to be more like her, let me paint the picture for you...

Remarkable Kindness
There is nothing worse than being ill in a waiting room, with other ill people, complaining how ill you are and how long you have been waiting. I was in the waiting room for twelve hours in total. I had been in and out of triage for various checks and briefly a side room that I hoped was the end of my journey, alas I was chucked back in the waiting room, waiting for a bed, with what I later learned was acute appendicitis and despite a brief reluctance to have surgery, the appendix was removed on Sunday evening. Ouch.
