Bojack Horseman is back. Thank goodness. The show is a gem: incredibly well-written, emotionally raw and unflinchingly devastating, and snort-laugh hilarious, often all at once--and once I start I can’t stop watching, laughing, or crying. Or formulating elaborate theories about characters' sexualities and psychoanalyzing them to within an inch of their lives.
Previously in this 2-part feature, I talked about some awesome, intriguing Star Trek characters we were lucky to meet in the brief time we knew them. The main cast is the core of every show, of course, but it’s often the fascinating side characters that make #StarTrek shine, and some of them seem to have a lot more left to do in their universes. It raises the question, what would it have been like if they’d stuck around? Could we really have it all?
“Sometimes it’s about thunder, and sometimes it’s about the pale horses who thrash the sea into storm, and sometimes it’s about gunfire opening your heart.”
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but these hyper-realistic drawings by amazing artist Arturo Quijada might just make words fail. Originally from Albacete, Spain, Quijada's motto is "Life is a Portrait," and it's definitely served him well.
