Roe v. Wade is Overturned
yahoo.com So, let me get this straight, we as women have fought for our rights. We fought for rights as women because we have been pushed down by men since we were created. We fought for our right to be heard in the classroom, just to have our hands up and to be spoken.

Dementia
I am having a hard day myself, just don't want to open my eyes to do today's tasks. That isn't fair to everyone in the house or me. My daughter just got over being sick with the flu. Thank goodness it wasn't Covid, but he wasn't able to help me around the house. I was doing everything as far as chores in the house by myself. Now, I don't want to come across as whining, but I'm just exhausted. Yesterday, was another day when my stepdad had to go to the post office. I had to keep telling him, my daughter was sick, and we weren't going anywhere until the next day. He finally understood. He is a lot better than before. Now we have learned to communicate better, but we still have bad days. Routines is very important to someone who has dementia.

Staying Strong
I started writing people in prison years ago. I started by writing the Son of Sam. He goes by the Son of Hope or let's call him by his real natural name David Berkowitz. He is so sweet. I went on from there and started writing to more people that were behind bars. I wrote Julius Jones and Rosa Jimenez. They were fighting for their freedom. This was many years ago when I started writing my friends behind bars. When I did this it opened my eyes more to how hard it is on them.

Writing Prisoners
I go to the Post Office every day to check my mail. I have been writing inmates in prison. I get the tingling in my stomach when I check my PO Box especially if I get a letter. I get so excited. I want to get a letter every day. Then when I sit at home to write back...I blank. It's the weirdest thing. I have so much to say when I get the letter after I open it but after I get home and sit down to write...I blank. I feel bad. I think about prison life is and compare it to my life. Not that my life is great but I compare if to just an average person's life.

The Slap At Oscars
I think the slap in the face was appropriate....well wasn't that uncommon for what was going on. If anyone said anything to me, my husband in a demeaning way about me, I would get upset too. I would want my husband to stick up for me, granted Will Smith did get violent. But under the circumstances, we really cannot blame him for getting mad. Okay, for the way he handled his anger, maybe. Will Smith probably should have calmed down before his hand got to Chris Rock's face.

Prison
It's different when you have experience behind you than other people do. People don't know of the Crime Life. I see things differently. I feel like I talk differently too. Do I talk differently? Um... maybe. I know I do not have a southern accent, but I have been asked "where are you from?"

My Pitt
I have the best dog. She is such a queen too. Oh, I didn't tell you she is a 75lb lap dog. She is hyper yet she lays around as she snores. She loves to play too. She goes to the words, "Go Sky, Go!" as I clap. She will run and run around the couch and try to play with our other dog which isn't a Pitt but a Terrier mix.

"Catfish" as a Pet
I have an algae eater fish that looks like a catfish. She is huge as you can probably see. She sharp pins or spikes in her fins as her defense. I know this because she had accidentally flipped herself out of the aquarium before one day. Luckily she was soon put back in the tank with no harm done. She was fine.

CAN YOU HANDLE IT?
To my Mom.... Can you handle it? If I knew I was going to be now but knew it before, what would you tell yourself? Could I handle it before or I guess I was just getting ready? Have you ever been in a situation where you lost your belongings? In any situation, lost your belongings? It’s awful. It makes a mark on you. You would probably like to know how this would come up in my head while I was folding clothes. Of all the different times of the day, and different things we do during the day, folding clothes was just what helped me remember.
