Advice for Writing the Dreaded Drabble
Okay, so if youāre not familiar with the āDrabbleā, then I envy you. I had to produce one for university. Write a story in just 100 words. Sounds easy, yeah? Itās not! I struggled more with this, than I did writing a complete script for a play.

Short Form Writing
Each writing output always follows the five key elements for a good story: character, setting, conflict, plot and theme. Also, each medium always consists of the dramatic structure, whereby a character wants something, meets an obstacle stopping them from getting what they want, then they achieve their goal or fail. There will always be a strong character arc explored within the story, but the ways in which this is portrayed, varies from each creative output.

We go to Blackpool every year, yet Iām still in love with the lights, the thrills and yesā¦ even the sandy shoes at the end of the holiday. Something about Blackpool just sets off a spark within me. A firework feeling that ignites my very soul. Maybe itās the nostalgia, or maybe I just love the feeling it gives me?

Attachment Issues
āWhat cannot be communicated to the [m]other cannot be communicated to the self.ā ā John Bowlby Growing up, I never really had anyone to confide in. No one to sort of cling to. I had parents, but they split up when I was little. My mum was an alcoholic, so I could never really tell her anything. Any time I tried, she was more interested in something else, or sheād get paranoid and my life would be hell for a while. My dad canāt deal with emotions. Heās pretty much a robot. And a lot of the time, I like that, because I hate overly emotional people, but when I need someone, it sucks.
