On the Land Five Species of Baboons There are five different species of baboons and they all live in Arabia or Africa. Some baboons are the world’s largest moneys. They prefer savanna and semi-arid habitats. There are a few baboons that live in tropical forests.

Benefits of Borage the Starflower A plant with a strange-sounding name is Borage also known as Starflower. It is an annual herb that originated in Syria. However, it is found throughout the Mediterranean region as well as Asia Minor, Europe, North Africa, and South America. Even though borage is bristly or hairy all over the stem and leaves these bristles don’t sting.

Houdini the Magician
A Party and a Lover’s Quarrel Sitting high atop the rugged hillside in the Hollywood Hills is the Gothic mansion where once the famous magician Harry Houdini lived. Unusual happenings occurred here on a full moon night in 1918. This mansion had been built by the wealthy owner of one of Hollywood’s largest furniture stores. He sold expensive furniture to actors and directors during the golden days of the movie industry. On this particular night at the mansion in Laurel Canyon guests in costumes had arrived for a Halloween party and to celebrate the 40th birthday of the host’s son. Everyone was making merry and unnoticed as the son went to the back of the house. There on one of the balconies that overlooked Laurel Canyon, he was planning to meet his lover.

Macau the Las Vegas of Asia
Amazing Macau is an autonomous region on the south coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. It has been given the nickname “Las Vegas of Asia”. For over 300 years it was a Portuguese colony. Here you can see many amazing things like ancient Chinese temples and buildings with a mix of impressive architecture.

The capital of the state of Thuringia is Erfurt. It is the main city that is nearest to the geographical center of modern Germany. It’s located 100 kilometers southwest of Leipzig, 150 kilometers north of Nuremberg, and 180 kilometers southeast of Hanover.

Exploring Newfoundland and Labrador
Newfoundland is a large island located off the east coast of the North American mainland. It is part of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Newfoundland Island is separated from the Labrador Peninsula by the Strait of Belle Island. It is separated from Cabot Breton Island by the Cabot Strait.
