One Hit Wonders of Yesteryear Part Five
Another little series this one about one hit wonders. It is surprising to note that all of these songs are memorable but just had their one shining moment for the artists and no other great hits followed. This is the fifth post in this series. I will add the links below as I go along.

Beautiful Tumbling Water
Austria The Krimml Waterfalls are located in Hohe Tauern National Park. The park is one of the largest nature reserves in Europe straddling Tyrol, Carinthia, and Salzburgerlands. It includes the highest peak in Austra, the Grossglockner. You can access the waterfall by taking the Wasserfallweg or Waterfall Trail that begins at the ticket office. The trail takes you through mixed forest with many viewpoints of the falls along the way. The Krimmler Ache plunges down for 1246 feet over three waterfall stages all surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. After you’ve viewed that falls you might like to hike through the valley to the Krimmler Tauernhaus, a 600-year-old tavern.

Alligator snapping turtles are a large species of turtles. They’re the largest freshwater species of turtles in North America. They can be found primarily in the southeastern US waters from the Florida Panhandle west to East Texas, north to southeastern Kansas, Missouri, southeastern Iowa, western Illinois, southern Indiana, western Kentucky, and western Tennessee. Their habitats include rivers, lakes, and canals. Alligator snapping turtles are carnivores and consist of fish, fish carcasses, mollusks, carrion, and amphibians. They’re also known to eat snakes, crayfish, worms, water birds, aquatic plants, other turtles, and at times even alligators.

Hometown New York City Brooklyn
For people living in small to mid-size hometowns it is easy to write about their towns. However, for someone like me who was born and raised in New York City it is rather difficult. Therefore I will look upon the borough of Brooklyn as my small town away from the teeming streets of Manhattan and the other boroughs. If you know about Brooklyn and find a neighborhood missing it is just that I wrote about all the ones I knew and where I have been. I was born in a very quiet corner of Brooklyn called Bay Ridge so I began my tour there. This article is about the neighborhoods Brooklyn Chinatown, Bushwick, Crown Heights, and Ditmas Park As I continue I will paste the links for the neighborhoods I have written about below.

These streets are clustered in an area around Times Square and are often referred to as the Theater District.
