12 Steps to Making Your Life Better
It's that feeling of a desire to do something different. The little voice in your head that keeps you up late at night, thinking of the endless possibilities. The first thought in the morning as you get out of bed, eager to figure out how you can make this day different. Or wondering if life just won't ever change.

6 Notes of Encouragement For the Blossoming Writer
1. If writing is your passion, then do not stop pursuing it. Even when you feel like you are not improving, even when you feel like you have lost inspiration, even when you feel like "maybe you weren't supposed to be a writer." And I say "when" (not "if") because you will have moments like these. But it's in those moments that you must write. Even if it's just one sentence. Or write about how you are feeling. There is always a reason to write, there is always something in your brain that needs to be said, to be shared, to be written. Don't ever stop writing. It's your passion. Your adventure.

The Beauty of Being Both
Everyone has unique and individual ways of recharging their energy. For the longest time, I thought I gained my energy from being around people. I am social, and friendly, I like to hang out, and go on adventures with others. But as I have gotten older and become more aware of my spiritual, mental, and emotional needs, I have realized that I am most fulfilled, and feel the most recharged when I am by myself. There's a certain kind of peace that comes with simply being in your own company—and enjoying it. It wasn't easy for me to get to this mental state. Like I said, I love being around people, and hanging out, so coming to the realization that I even could be alone (and love it!) was pretty astounding. Once I grasped it, though, it became my safe place.

This Is How You Will Heal
And this is how you will heal... It will be a process. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but it’s the truth. These things take time. And no, “time doesn’t heal all wounds.” It’s what you do during that time that will determine the healing you experience.
