The Vend's headquarters was the second largest Ziggurat in downtown Benglese. It was packed deeply into the architecture of the city. Kevin gazed upwards, but he couldn't see the top of it. The furthest he could see was the middle, which penetrated through thick, luminous nighttime clouds. The clouds were all glowing with a neon reflection, against the light of Avax's single moon.

"Where are we going now Sillan?" Kevin asked. The effects of worm-hole space began to play out as they made a swift exit from Tarn and The Undellian Star System. Sillan sat fixed in front of the ships controls as Kevin sat across from him.

The Vend's office building was considerably different from the buildings Kevin had seen on Denlent (so far). The architectural style of Denlent's buildings mostly consisted of pure, white buildings, that jutted up far into the skyline. The Vend's office looked like a misplaced object from a different solar system. It was completely black, and was shaped like a ziggurat; although it didn't look like any pyramids Kevin had seen form Earth's history.

Divine Inspiration Via Philip K. Dick
"The Divine Invasion" by Philip K. Dick is actually a sequel to another PKD book called "Valis." The Divine Invasion is structured with a traditional, science-fiction narrative, while Valis is (definitely) not. Valis, while having a plot, is (in my opinion) a book length series of deeply fascinating, creative, inspired and psychotic journal entries. The entire length of Valis includes philosophy, mysticism, psychology, mythology and religious insights and extrapolation, from any (and every) source. Overall, Philip K. Dick called this wealth of knowledge his "Exegesis." The total Exegesis itself is approximately 8,00o pages. I'd encourage you to read Valis if you want to enter a rabbit hole and then never come back. I'm still in there myself.

Larry The Talking Wall
If walls could talk conversation would be eternal. New stories are generated at approximately ten times the rate any yarn could be spun from our closest and most unavoidable friends. And if anyone is a talker, it would be Larry The Talking Wall. His life started simply enough. He was cast out of concrete, timber, aluminum and pure sweat. A foundation that was sure to last two hundred years. It was somewhere around 1910, when he was erected in a span of a couple hours, at perpendicular angles to his closest friends.

Syanvatharhna (or Syan) was also known for being as cold as she was brilliant.

"Dude WOAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Kevin said. Kevin was clutching his leather jacket to himself so tightly it might as well have been his own skin. The last effects of worm hole space played out. The tunnel of space-time shifted to a red color, before finally disappearing completely and spitting them out directly into physical space. New constellations, never before seen by eyes from Earth, could be seen plain as day.

Kevin inspected the right arm of his favorite leather jacket. The tear by the cuff had gotten worse during the maelstrom at McGuiles. It was now the only memento of planet Earth Kevin had. The man in the trench coat had blasted them through the solar system, and they were now floating pleasantly past the heliosphere, on the beginnings of interstellar space. The Oort Cloud (that surrounded the solar system Earth was in) was beginning to come into view.
