Games I Loved in 2018
Around this time last year, I threw a list of games together I enjoyed playing throughout the course of 2017. In the grand scheme of things it didn't do too well, barely scraped 20 reads and I wasn't very clear in what I was trying to do with it. I called it Games I had fun with, but some of the titles in the list (namely Hellblade) wasn't fun in the sense of joyfulness, but it was a powerful experience which I loved, hence the title change here.

'Life Is Strange: Before the Storm' Broke Me Too
Earlier this week, I brought myself to finish Before the Storm, the prequel to what became one of my all-time favourite games, Life is Strange. I'll admit, I took a while to even purchase it, and longer still to play it. I could, and at times still can, feel the emotional hangover from the original.

'Avengers 4' Trailer: First Impressions
Well, then. At 1 PM GMT, December, 7 2018, the Avengers 4 trailer was unleashed upon the world. I'm writing this at 2:05 PM—and I'm yet to calm down. I've watched it several times, so I thought I'd get my first thoughts and impressions out there while I'm on this hype high.

Death of the Dreamers: The Pursuit of Happiness
A few years ago, when a lot of my friends left for university, I stayed behind. A lot of you may already know why. For those who don't, the TL;DR is, I was incredibly depressed and didn't think going to university was the best option for me, nor did I think it was safe. Yes, another depressed millennial, trust me I wish I was different too, but I digress.

MUSE—'Simulation Theory': The Super Deluxe Review
If you're a friend of mine or indeed have stood anywhere in hearing distance of me, chances are you know I'm a big fan of Muse. They've been my favourite band for nearly a decade and I've enjoyed everything they have put out thus far.

'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' Review
Despite my dashing looks and rogue-like charm, I'm unable to get advanced copies of games so I can review them on release day. So I went the other way and waited a couple of weeks before trying to review it. I did the same with WW2 last year. I feel, looking back, I bought into the hype of going back to World War II and boots-on-the-ground combat too much.

Life as a Movie ExtraTop Story - August 2018
Even though I've bored a lot of my friends to death with this subject, there are still people in the world that do not know I'm an occasional film extra. It's unusual, especially in a quiet, stuck-in-the-past town like mine, but it does bring about some great conversations.

It's More Than Just a Game
Last night, England went out of the 2018 World Cup after a semi-final defeat to Croatia. A game of two very different halves before extra time, England possibly could've wrapped the game up and been two or three nil up in 30 minutes. There could've even been a Croatian red card. Sadly, it wasn't to be.

The Worst of the 'Star Wars' Fan Base Are at It Again
A long time ago in a galaxy really quite near, George Lucas gave us the first Star Wars, and thus caused all nerds everywhere to explode with B-movie glee as the rest of the world started to think their weird shit was actually cool.

Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino Review
It seems that there will be two very distinct groups of people who will be reading this review. The first group is the small gathering of people I can rely on to read my articles regardless, the others may be die-hard Arctic Monkeys fans who will roll their eyes, close their web browser, and wish they could lob their can of Dark Fruits at my head when I say "I actually quite like this album."
