Iris, Prince Don, and the Phoenix Feather Lantern, Part 2
Iris plummeted off the cliff, goggled at green rushing closer, yelled at herself, and yanked the cord to release her chute. With a jerk she was suspended, and breathed again. The bright purple of Prince Don's parachute spread below her, and hesitantly she pulled at one of the toggles on her own to steer towards him.

Going for the Green
We first saw the plants while picking grapes. Jock spotted them from his perch up on the wagon- a nice little crop in someone's backyard. No idea what strain, but yeah, marijuana. Illegal, so up for grabs, to a certain line of thinking... But not ready yet. And we had some.

Iris, Prince Don, and the Phoenix Feather Lantern, Part 1
A single sob escaped Prince Don's lips at the sight of his mother lying in bed, grey as stone, eyes fixed unseeing on the ceiling. Then he drew a deep solid breath, squared his shoulders, and nodded to his father, King Les Ashe, who was standing next to the bed. He had been gazing down at his incapacitated wife when their son entered - not with love, as far as said son could tell, but then, he had never seen his parents look at each other with love. Theirs was a marriage of treaties. Many of which would be vulnerable were his mother to die. Or continue in her current state.
