Mirror on the Wall
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. I stared at the stranger before me, trying to make sense of what I was seeing. The face that stared back at me was older, wearier, and somehow sadder than my own. It was as though I was looking at a version of myself from another time, or perhaps another universe altogether.

Dragons in the Valley
“There weren’t always dragons in the Valley.” Tylon’s whisper seemed to have been to himself. The poor elf often did that, mumbled some unheard truth of the world while the rest of us did our best to just keep soot out of our eyes. No one else seemed to hear the soft trill of history, but Tylon’s soft brown eyes glared at me across the campfire as if I were the only one who needed to have heard. No sooner had he said it, he turned back to Meekal who was addressing the whole of the security detail.

Alliances (Pt 5/6)
“I cannot believe Lillith found a host for both herself and Fenrir. This is quite fortuitous. Don’t you agree, Kalinin?” Stepping through the gaseous green lit portal Gireon created, Rostislav took a deep smiling breath. Miroslav Kalinin, not amused, glanced back to ensure the portals full closure before speaking. The fact that Gireon had created the portals directly in front of the queen meant that his abilities were getting stronger.

Dream Battle (Pt. 4 challenge)
Being taken by surprise was not something to which Fergalo was accustomed. Every muscle tightened as he rose to his full imposing height. Crimson veins, as if force feeding its energy, began to show. His bodies muscles began to swell, doubling in density. Senses heightened by adrenaline bolstered his responses. The creatures arm now shifted into a massive blade shimmering of elemental power. Surging electricity crackled across its surface.

The guards return
Rising from the mists, surreal in creation, a wall peaks through the trees. Cresting the hyperion forest it flickers in and out of vision along the ridge. No matter how you approached, a mirage of magnificent forestry enveloped in the mists meets ones gaze. But underneath the projected imagery, a 40ft thick wall of Tremacite resided. A material so durable, the strongest earthquakes couldn’t destroy them. Three thousand miles in circumference, it houses the majority of the military might of the greatest civilization known to Samura. Farmlands, waterways, towns…all of them leading to the jeweled city; Trizanthia. The crowning achievement of the werewolf race, Trizanthia has remained hidden in these mountains for centuries. Within the palace grounds one being sits upon a gilded seat. Fur covered fingers coated in warm chocolate icing reach down for another piece of cake.
