The ethical tradition of thought
Is the ethical matter of thought and sharing deeply entrenched and coded into our psyche. Whether or not to compromise our individual identity by confiding in others, versus locking our minds shut against possible bias and unsavory repercussions of negativity.

I, Desert.
Now I have been around a very long time, and have seen my fair share of the unusual and downright unthinkable in my many years as a desert. I mean, there have been treasures, ships, lovers quarrels, camels, dead bodies, near dead bodies and so much more. I have seen beauty, horror, kindness, pain, joy, sadness, suffering and the occasional happiness in being rescued alive, and the mending of a broken heart or two.

Thanksgiving Memories....in abstractTop Story - November 2023
The origin of Thanksgiving as a national holiday is celebrated on various dates in the United States, Canada, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Liberia, and unofficially in countries like Brazil and the Philippines. It is also observed in the Dutch town of Leiden and the Australian territory of Norfolk Island. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessings of the harvest and of the preceding year (similarly named harvest festival holidays occur throughout the world during autumn, including in Germany and Japan). Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and around the same part of the year in other places. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated as a secular holiday as well.

The Land of 'Fire and Ice'.
Iceland, aptly named 'the land of fire and ice', is one of the most striking places on our planet. This frozen landscape is set right on top of a volcanic melting pot, which is evident in the fountains of scalding water and explosions of molten lava that escapes the crust. The end result is a landscape of stark and fiery beauty.
