Digital Love
What can I say about love on the internet? It’s a combination of excitement, thrill, and the mystery of the closeness of somebody’s body next to you. The imagination, if you will. We rely on the internet for research, communications, and entertainment. The biggest thing is the entertainment. We are so entertained by TikTok, Instagram, snapchat, and Facebook that we can’t help but check it every single day. I check mines 4 or 5 times a day. Once you hear the notification sound of a text or a ring of a FaceTime call then there is a jump for joy. There is a huge jump for joy when the one you are infatuated with calls. You put their name on a caller ID with a kissing emoji or a simple heart emoji. When talking for a long amount of time then it turns into a ‘honey’ or a ‘babe’. We crave the attention online when it comes to meeting someone long distance. I am not talking about 1 or 2 hours away. I am talking about 2 or 3 days away. Someone who is in the UK that wooed you over a simple English accent and a promise that you will have the world when you are in their hands. Someone who lives in an Arabian country who promise a sensual Arabian night. This is online dating which can end badly or can be successful depending on if you tread carefully or not. Online dating is a sticky situation; emotionally, you are longing for that person. If certain, in reality they may show up on your front step with a one single handed red rose showing you the world they promised you. If you don’t tread carefully then it will end up being a 50-year-old bald man who still lives with his mother in Kentucky with a beer belly. SO, TREAD CAREFULLY GIRLS!

Love is Not Easy
I cannot put into words the thoughts I have about love. Love is like a congealed space that I can’t get out of. You can call it a roller coaster because it is exactly what it is. It is hard for females to find “the right one” or their one “true love.” A lot of females can compare with this kind of feeling because it happens with us. I’ve heard it from countless of women that they can’t find the right one to settle down with and when they settle down, they find themselves stuck in a whirlwind. I was once in this whirlwind. I just got out of it, he showed me that he could support me emotionally, physically, and I thought financially. I guess that was the honeymoon phase of our relationship. As months gone by, he became distant and when you become distant emotionally, you become distant sexually. People always tell me that sex is very important in a strong relationship. I never knew what they meant by that until I went into a relationship. Our sex was good and he was very selfless in bed and got off on pleasing me. When things started getting distant with us was when the sex got distant. It was more of him gaining dominance than it was pleasing. It did please me but for the wrong reasons. Our relationship became very distant to where he was sleeping on the floor rather than sleep near me. The question I had to ask myself was: if it was really worth it? My best friend had told me to end it before it gets worse. I didn’t listen to her. I should’ve listened to her advice long time ago. Adults are like kids at times, when we were little, we were told to do something and then we do the opposite. That was what I did, my best friend gave me the advice that was on point and I did the opposite. I had to learn from my mistake, I guess. When I was in this relationship, I didn’t see my beauty. Not just my appearance but my inner beauty. My lavender flower was close to deteriorating. It takes a while to deal with heartbreaks. You find someone who is far better than the last and wonder if you want to pursue something with them, I’d say no.

The Censorship in China
All About Censorship Social media. When we think of social media we think of social networking. Before, social media was all about interacting with friends and connecting with long lost relatives. Now, media is all about social networking for new businesses and for celebrity gossips. So, what happens when a country, such as China, bans every social media that the world has to offer? Things gets difficult for the people in China to network and engage with their friends and family. China is limited to social media, but why? Why is this all happening in China? Why does China want to censor every social media? Are they against the social media world?
