Silent Stars
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Jarrus Hartholm knew this fact well by now. So many times, she had stood on the barren bridge of this derelict husk of metal, hurtling its way through the endless reaches of space, and screamed at deities, emptiness, and the planets that sailed by. Throwing anger at whatever it was she could blame for this crushingly lonely existence she was forced to live.

The Problem with America.
I would like to open this with some personal thoughts. I must first establish that I do like the USA and I think the country has many good things about it. I also believe that these good things are overshadowed by the bad things that seem to plague the country, due to the way sensationalism-driven mediums present information nowadays.

“Shhh shh, calme mon petit. Nous sommes presque en sécurité.” The young woman whispered to her baby daughter as her beautiful silver wings faltered and spasmed, their elegant feathers bloodied. Having been pierced by so many arrows, she found unable to stay aloft and began plummeting through the fog and darkness in her tattered silk dress and heavy traveler's cloak.

Important Thoughts on Teaching
My most positive learning experience was between Gr. 9 to Gr. 11. I remember when I was in my math class during those years I was able to enter something I called, the flow zone. This was my greatest learning state. During this fraction of time, I was able to almost absorb the content and knowledge being taught to me by my teacher.
