Rishi Sunak has flown to Washington to refuel and has flown on to San Diego. Sunak is no stranger to California. The Sunaks have a home in the state. Also, Sunak had a green card which enables one to live in the US. Mr. Sunak apparently surrendered this when he became Prime Minister.

Shamima Begum: Appeal Lost.
Shamima Begum's legal representatives lost an appeal hearing so she could not return home to the UK. Ms. Begum dresses as any Western young person does in front of the cameras. As opposed to her head covered when she nursed her baby by a Dutch Jihadi fighter. Whether her wearing western clothes is a real turnaround in her beliefs cannot be said. However, many rightly remain suspicious of the young woman.

China Says Russia Should End War.
This month is the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. So far, the war drags on and there seems no end to it. Russia failed to take Kyiv and instead has settled for taking parts of eastern Ukraine instead. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been trying to liberate its land from Russian occupation in the east.
