Dr. Who: Too Woke?
I remember as a kid and growing up viewing Dr. Who as a must-watch Saturday night event. The Doctor from the planet Gallifrey would battle various threats. Daleks, Cybermen, Sea-Devils, etc, the programme was pure escapism, adventure, and a little scary.

Johnson To Address Ukrainian Parliament.
The resistance and defiance that Ukraine has shown to the Russian invasion have been nothing short of a miracle. The country has paid a terrible price for standing up to Vladimir Putin. Scores of its armed services have been killed and badly injured. The civilian population has paid a heavy price in death and injuries also. Cities and towns have been pummeled to dust by Russian missile strikes, bombing, and shelling. Vast amounts of the Ukrainian population have fled the country. Boris' Troubled Premiership.
Boris must wish he had taken Indian citizenship as he flew back into the UK. Partygate will not leave the Prime Minister alone as MPs voted through a motion to investigate Boris. Labour instituted this motion to investigate the Prime Minister's antics. Also, the Metropolitan Police have issued more fines to 10 Downing Street over illegal lockdown parties. Boris and his troubled Chancellor Rishi Sunak could be the recipiants of these fines. Other cabinet members will also be receiving fines and Downing Street staff.

Putin Appoints New General.
The campaign in Ukraine has not gone according to plan. Destroyed Russian equipment litters the landscape. However, Ukrainian forces have paid a high price for their stoic defence. Ukraine in many places lies devastated by the Russian blitzkrieg. The West has kept the Ukraine armed forces supplied with high-tech weaponry. This has added to Russia's woes on the battlefield. President Zelensky has led from the front and this has inspired Ukrainians to fight on. Russia was expected to crush Ukraine's much smaller military and win. Russia has the equipment and the man power to do it but events proved otherwise.
