Dragon Child Distress Chronicles
There was no moon tonight. All eight of them seemed to be hiding behind the Jander World for some reason. Maybe they were hiding because they sensed some impending chaos or doom and did not want to be party to it. A kind of disclaimer, so to speak. It didn't matter. they would have to answer for it anyway. Zearbar would see to it. Then punish them accordingly. As I peered toward Jandar World I could see flickers and light pulses coming from behind it and this concludes that I am right about my assumption. They were hiding. I then softly whispered to Jealith, the largest moon. "Whatever the event will be, we need a witness. Take your place and give coverage." Slowly, Jealith crept out from behind the large planet and took up a place in the dark sky. I then looked back at Jandar World to see the other moons peeking.

The Trial of Doc
To say that I'm tired is and understatement. I'm not only tired but hungry, thirsty and chilled to the bone, as well. Oh! And did I mention that my feet hurt? My shoes have holes in the soles and with every step I take, they pinched. Where am I going, you might ask? Well, it would be better to tell you where I'm coming from, first. You might find this a bit interesting, or, yes, even a bit exciting. Drum roll please... ta daa.... I'm coming from Mr. Browning's Brewery. And behold! I have eight bottles of the finest brew in the land on my person. Five bottles in my sack, one in each of my coat pockets and the one that I carry in my hand. Now, to tell you where I'm going. I'm going to a party of sorts. Not one of those good parties, one where there is a trail of sorts first, and then a flogging or hanging or maybe even a stoning. I don't mean to be so lighthearted about some else's ill fate but, Doc deserves it. He deserves all three but the outcome depends on how drunk we can get the judge tonight and that's where I come in. Mr. Browning, the proprietor of Browning's Brewery had sent me to fetch to the bottles. Just about a mile and a half to go. But wait, what are those torch light headed this way? Could they be looking for me? I know that it's been three hours but they know that I don't have no horse and nobody would lend me one either. Oh, by the way, let me introduce myself. I'm Dogan. and I am Mr. Browning's assistant.

Under Construction
As Saeon rung the doorbell to Sherry's apartment, he thought about how they would get out of New City without being found. He knew that by now, H.I.M. had his scouts combing the city, trying to find the transportation that he and Nessa had came in on. Now, as he heard Sherry asked him to identify, he gave the fake code that he used whenever he went out of his house secretly. As soon as the door opened, he entered the room looking for his Nessa and upon spotting her, he rushed to her and gathered her up into his arms and breathed a sigh of relief asking her if she was okay. After she assured him that she was okay, he then saw and acknowledged the others in the room. Ines made the introductions. "My beautiful daughter, Sherri, my eldest son, Mark, James, my third child and Kevin, my youngest." Saeon nodded to each one of them after the introduction and said, "I am very much in love with your mother, and I hope that you all are able to accept me as her husband. The boys rushed over to him and gave him a group hug and thanked him for saving her from Wizard, (Ines had told them everything). Sherri chimed in, "Our mother is very happy and we are grateful that you brought her to us. Without you we don't know if we would ever have seen her again, especially since our Uncle James passed away. Saeon was happy upon hearing this and quickly told them that they had to leave because the president's scouts were after him and he had to get back to his home so that it would not be discovered that he was not there. He asked the boys if they would take their mother to the building that the helicopter was on and watch her as she went inside. The boys agreed and after another all inclusive group hug Saeon left quickly and went back to his house as the boys took their mother and left with her in Mark's car to the address Saeon had given them.

Reunion
It was her brother, James, that had set everything up in the mountain. He made sure that Ines had everything that she would ever need after the people had left for New City. Being brilliant in technology, he had made efficient drones to do every kind of job, ever. He had found and used the technology all the techno geniuses had left behind. They couldn't take it with them. It was in the plans for them to start over, anyway. James only made two models, himself, and the ones that he made, made the others. The drones ran Old World. James had programed them to keep factories running, food production, plant life and care for all animals, ongoing. All but the animal care ran at a slow pace so that they would not be overrun. His gut instinct told him that everything would be needed one day. The last thing he did was give instructions to the drones to listen to Ines as she would be the one that they would soon be serving. He knew that death was near. He was feeling the effects of the vaccine. After he perfected the learning chamber, he quietly died in his sleep. Ines deposited his body in the death locker where James had specified.

My Show Horse
"Five minutes, Miss Black!" the show announcer called to me as I put on my hat and tilted it slightly to one side. This was my moment; my big daube and I was ready to go out and wow the audience with all my original songs. The Sweetheart Country Connection. The last one to open the show was just finished, and I was ready. I put on my best smile as I walked onto the stage after the emcee did an unbelievable introduction. When I got up to the mic, I let out a whooping, "whoo hoo!" to the applauding audience. After the audience quieted down, I began my show.

Road Trip
Ine s was very hesitant in getting out of the truck though Saeon had told her that it was safe. Even though she wanted to see and interact with people, again, now that she was here and it was about to happen she was nervous and afraid. Saeon sensed this and pulled her close to him, then kissed her to calm her. She now went willingly with him into the outpost. He took her up to the bar told the barkeeper to let her behind the bar. After she was let in Saeon instructed her to sit on a stool that had been placed there for her. The barkeeper then gave Saeon a key to the office where he would send his wire. The barkeeper looked at Ines as he noticed that it had gotten quiet in the bar. He then signaled for his daughter to come to the counter and give each customer another beer. He also took out his shotgun and stood by Ines as though daring anyone to make a move towards her. They had best sit and enjoy those free beers they got today, because tommorow they would be paying for them. The price would be double what they paid for the house brewed beer. Not to mention the shots of whiskey he would sell. Nobody had seen the likes of this stuff since before the After War. Where had Steel gotten this from? And, cigarettes? The best brands, too.

Bonovelent
They had been traveling for ten hours now and Saeon was still telling her about the different ways people of the Afterwar had been affected. In the morning they would see signs and markings of different territories. Most of the clans and settlements were not hostile, but needed much in the way of medicine, food and tools. He would leave a bundle at the first marking with a note telling them to list the things they needed most. He would repeat this at each marking until they reached the outpost. Now it was time to rest and he turned off the road and got out to move some kind of fence covered with foliage and vines. He then drove the truck through and got out to put the fence back in place. He had discovered this place when he had received his mission to find, join, and then kill the leader of the Raging Bull Gang.
