What we put into our bodies has a significant impact on the way we feel, yet how often do we actually sit and read about the ingredients in some of our favourite snacks or meals. Poetry the art form where we don’t clap
Rhymic sets to get you in your feelings
Poetry is alive and still breathing
Dimmed lights and silence at coffee shops
Mic check one, two before the mic drops
Take a breather
Now set the stage of fire
dropping words to inspire or admire
As the sounds of snapping fingers
come from deep thinkers
Let my words linger.
Now imma ease off the pedal
and let the dust settle.
But remember poetry is alive!
Beautiful sunsets, candid family moments, on point make up with glistening highlight—sound familiar? Well, those are the types of flawless photographs we see flooding our social timelines.
