It's Okay To Lose Yourself
I admit I used to judge women for staying in relationships that weren't good for them. I don't mean the very abusive ones where they risk their lives and others potentially just trying to leave it. I mean the ones where you stay for all the little reasons you can, or for whatever reason you find. I always thought "why don't you leave him! Do you not value yourself?"

Never thought I would rid my life of you.
In my last close relationship, I hung out with a guy-friend a lot. And as time went on, I spent almost all my waking hours with him. Sometimes, this was great, I always had someone to go to the store with or get food with. I had someone to go to any event I wanted, not that we went many other places than the movies. But, nonetheless, I had that someone to do almost everything with.

Losing Weight
Trying to lose weight is hard, and a lot of people know that. It doesn’t help that there is a good amount of conflicting advice out there. I once listened to an ad that said orange juice, bread, and butter are horrible for you, and I don’t think that’s actually true. Though, full disclaimer, I AM NOT A NUTRITIONIST so I don’t know for sure what’s bad for you and what’s good.

Writing: Words Can Be Hard...
Writing can be one of the most difficult things to do, especially if you’re trying to do it well. Putting words on paper, or typing them onto a computer screen can be easy if you don’t really care about what you’re writing. Or you have a knack for words. Or you’re commenting on a Facebook post, Tweet, Instagram post, whatever else there is. Usually you don’t care too much about exactly what you say so it’s easy to type “cute hairstyle!” or “that looks awesome!”.

Horror Movies: Is The "Horror" Factor Gone, or Just Adapting to a New Audience?
Years ago when The Exorcist came out, it was of course classified as a horror movie, and people enjoyed it. I think partly because not many movies featured a young girl becoming possessed by a demon.

Being an Introvert
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems in today's world that the way to make new friends is via work, your current friends, bf/gf, or maybe volunteering. Personally, I have never seen a small group of people see someone alone and invite that person into their little group. I just don't think that happens anymore, if it ever really did. For me, I made one or two friends in school, then maybe they introduced me to more people, or it was just a couple of us and then other groups. Once I had to just start hanging out with a group of people and not leave. Of course, they thought I was weird but I had people to eat lunch with every day. Now that school is over for me, I retained very few close friends. And some family members say to "go out and meet people." But, I’m not sure where to do that? My only idea is either volunteering or joining a book club. Something that doesn’t cost any money. And to be totally honest, I probably should do some volunteer work regardless of whether it brings me new friends. It’s good karma and a chance to help out. But aside from volunteering, and maybe a book club. How do introverts/shy people make more friends these days?
