There are these moments When I remember What it was like To feel your gaze upon me To feel your warm embrace When you hugged me from behind
Don't waste the present Your potential has no limits Deathbed whispers thee
Every moment counts Giving our all, all the time Much pressure to bear
Relax behind noise See as the still observer Let go and release
How did I get here Many questions But the answers Are never clear Asking one by one Tapped out As the light goes out
I close my eyes And open my soul To the cosmic unknown Standing on my tippy toes Going in the direction Only my soul knows
For all creation The one that connects us all Appreciation
Giving blessings Of restoration Breathing in life Breathing out death Of old shadows and stories That is no longer serving
Sometimes I feel It doesn’t matter How much evidence is provided To disprove my feelings Of inadequacy and self-doubt
With every breath you take Just being awake You are Enough Any way that you may be I will say it more loudly You are Enough
Crippling with anxiety A cycle that lives on repeat Peace is what I really crave, but My anxiety takes control of my brainwaves
