Ok this is a free form poem about the exasperation I feel about Facebook notifications. There is zero logic behind them at all. They should be simply in time order maybe with user sort options. We don’t even know if there is any kind of logic behind them at all.
Keep Me In Your Heart For A While
Apologies to anyone who has lost a close loved one, it is a very difficult thing to come to terms with. “Keep Me In Your Heart For A While” is one of the most beautiful , heartbreaking songs that I have ever heard. Warren Zevon , was an enfant terrible , with a wry sense of humour and a string of songs that were darkly funny , well written. Here are some of my favourites:
Let’s Be Friends
Yesterday I got into a public argument. I believed I was right. I was wrong and Julia pointed this out but I wouldn’t accept it. It turned out , after speaking with another great friend, that it was worse than I could have possibly imagined. I was shown the extreme error of my ways.
What's My Name?
Alan Gold asked me about why I had a double name on Facebook and Vocal. I thought I had written about this on Seven Days In but I couldn’t find any trace of it to fill out this piece. I mean this is just about how I got a nickname and appropriated it for myself.
There was a recent event which upset me , but was caused by me actually breaking a major rule that I was ignorant of, and really this should never have occurred but that is by the way now and it is , as far as I am concerned , water under the bridge.
Like No Other #2
A few years ago I started a list of songs that were , in my opinion , #LikeNoOther , on my Seven Days In blog. These are eight songs for that list , and there will be a lot more in future. This is the second batch from those songs. Some will be familiar but they are really different from all other music that you know of although they may have been copied since then.
