I know when I was younger that I thought people in their 40’s and 50’s lacked style and were old. And now I sit in my high-waisted mom jeans (that are on-trend, by the way) and wonder if I am that old bag? I am the same age my mom was when she became a grandma to my son and then died 10 short years later.

Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health
When thinking about taking an anti-depressant for the last year or so (I’ve been on and off for most of my life) most of the people around me would ask me if I had tried anything else. We all know that exercise and diet play a major role in our mental health and for years I was that person that said exercise saved me. It helped my moods and “cured” my anxiety and depression.

I Started Drinking Coffee and Got a Vibrator To Alleviate My Menopause Symptoms
It had been over 13 years since I had owned or used a sex toy. I got into a new relationship around that time and put all of my old toys in a shoebox, wrapped it in duct tape, and threw it out in the trash. How else are you supposed to dispose of things like that? I don’t know if I thought someone would dig through my trash and find it or if they could track it back to me at the landfill through my DNA, but I wasn’t taking any chances.
