Top Ten Films: 1985
I was born in 1985, and some of the greatest films were released. Coincidence? I think not!! But then the question "becomes where to begin?" This is probably one of the toughest Top Ten lists that I've attempted to put together, because honestly there were so many wonderful movies released in 1985. But, nevertheless I did what I could and put together my list of ten. So let's begin at the end.

A Lineage Of Assassins: A Quick History of 'Assassin's Creed'
Eight years ago, my whole gaming experience was changed with the release of one game. I was, as were many others, trapped in the Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare circuit. They were the only games I played -- literally -- all day long some days. Then I was introduced to a brotherhood of assassins, and I never looked back. I started on a journey back in 2007 along with many other gamers, as we saw that there was more out there than the first person shooter. We've played through the games and waited patiently for Ubisoft to release the next new assassin and just prior to Halloween this year we were given a new game and new characters and it has been a glorious journey so far.

Alternatives to Console & PC Gaming: Join The Mobile Revolution
Gamers are often highly segregated when it comes to determining what defines a great game... or deciding what the best game of all time was (which by the way can never be answered)... or choosing whether PC or Console gaming is the best outlet to get our gaming fix. I say call it a gaming fix because if you're anything like me, gaming is like an opiate, gaming itself is something that is so ingrained in us that when we lose out on our gaming experiences we are rocked to our core and it changes our mood. Gaming for so many truly is an addiction, and we need our fix to feel satisfied, which ultimately can get difficult as the busyness of life takes hold of our daily routine. For me personally, I crave my gaming fix as a way to de-stress and mellow out after a stressful day at work. My wife has even noticed a visible difference in my mood if I get an hour or two on my Xbox once or twice a week.

Japan, Germany, Russia? Where Next for Assassin's Creed?
If you know me, then you probably know that Assassin's Creed is unequivocally my all time favorite video game franchise. I have spent more hours than I probably am willing to admit pouring into my beautiful assassins over the last 8 years, yet I wouldn't change a thing. Assassin's Creed, to me, has been one of those games that wasn't about completing or mastering, it has always been about experiencing and being a part of something with a bigger story arc outside of the simple hack/slash or a streamline 1st person shooter. There's something that just draws me into the bigger story as it progresses through the different Assassins' individual lives.

A Gaming Father: 4 Steps To Get Your Gaming Fix
I grew up on video games. Loved them. Still do. I grew up visiting arcades with my uncles, or going to friends who had the newest and coolest system. I loved being able to disappear into whatever game was available. I would barricade myself in my room for hours whenever I needed some time with my beloved Super Nintendo or my Gameboy. Both of which I still own and have been known to pull out from time to time. ** Game of choice: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 Stars **

It's always a terrible occasion when we read articles about a child's possible last wish, but when it's attached to an A-lister going above and beyond to bring a smile to that child's face - it's truly heartwarming. That is this story.

6 Times That 'The Punisher' Crossed The Line And Killed Superheroes
It's fascinating to think that one of the most formidable characters in the entire Marvel Universe wouldn't have a single superpower, yet Frank Castle fits that build. Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, is a fan-favorite among the plethora of heroes in Marvel Comics - yet his strength is sheer willpower, military training and a thirst for vengeance.
