RIP Toys 'R' Us (1948-2018)
You're probably familiar with the saying, "All good things must come to an end." It's an end of an era for one of the best toy stores in the world, but it's also a sad day for everyone who loved going to Toys 'R' Us as children and adults. After 70 years in business, Toys 'R' Us has officially closed all of their stores for good, as of today. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last fall in hopes to stay open. Unfortunately, lackluster sales during the holiday season ended up shying away customers and vendors. The "I don't want to grow up. I want to be a Toys 'R' Us kid" jingle that we all sang along to will always be in our hearts forever. This was a place that I loved going to as a kid in the '90s. It was like my happy place, playing with all the toys and checking out the video games. Now that I'm an adult, I'm going to share some moments that I enjoyed going to Toys 'R' Us.

Are you tired of some people saying that you're too old to do or have certain things? Trust me. We've been told that at some point in our adult lives. That's the reason why I'm writing this story and going to share my top five things that we adults will never outgrow.

Cosplayer Spotlight: Matches Malone
In the almost four years being a cosplayer, I've met some of the most generous cosplayers, online and in person. Whenever I see someone devoting their time to volunteer or visit ill children at a hospital, it really puts a smile on my face. I want to introduce everyone to Matches Malone and by the time you have finished reading my interview with him, it's going to show you that superheroes can be charitable.

In Defense Of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
It's Morphin Time! Those three awesome words never get old for Power Rangers fans everywhere. This year is the 25th anniversary of the premiere of arguably one of my favorite shows of the 90s: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I remembered being that five-year-old who would watch it every day after school. Every episode that I watch, I always pretended that I was a Power Ranger. I had some action figures, including a White Ranger watch. So you can tell that I was a die-hard fan and still am to this day. Even as an adult, I collected even more action figures and had lots of Power Rangers comic books. I've noticed that people are hating on this 90s television series and calling it, "lame," and, "cheesy." Luckily, this Power Rangers fan is coming to their defense by clapping back at the naysayers.

My Top 5 Geeky Shirts
Wearing geeky shirts are a way to express who I am. In my early 20s, I started to wear them and by the time I turned 30, I had over two dozen shirts. Many people ask me why I wear them and the reasons are obvious: they fit and I love them. I plan to continue wearing geeky shirts forever. On social media, I use #geekyshirtfriday to post which shirt I'll be wearing every Friday. One week it would be a Nintendo shirt and the following week, it would be a Power Rangers shirt. It all depends on the type of mood I'm in. I'm going to share my five best geeky shirts. Hope you enjoy this wonderful list.

My Thoughts About Billy Mitchell
For over 30 years, former competitive gamer Billy Mitchell achieved many accolades and rose to fame as the best gamer of all time. However, back in April, there was an investigation conducted by Twin Galaxies and it concluded that Mitchell, 52, submitted fraudulent and dishonest scores. In result of the controversy, Twin Galaxies had removed his scores and prohibited him from submitting any more scores in the future. The Guinness Book of World Records has also stripped Mitchell of all of his high scores from their record books. Here are some of the accomplishments he has achieved before they were taken away from both Twin Galaxies and Guinness Book of World Records:

My Thoughts About Jason David Frank
With his loyal fans on social media supporting him all the way, Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has a fanbase who's always on his side and devoted to him. Growing up, I loved his character, Tommy Oliver, and watching him on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The five part series, Green With Evil, was amazing and got to witness Tommy becoming the sixth Power Ranger. However, as I've gotten older, Jason's antics and attention seeking ways has turned me off. Let me be clear about a few things. I'm a huge Power Rangers fan. That's my fandom and will always show love and appreciation for the franchise. So whenever I see someone do something that's uncalled for or inappropriate, I'm not afraid to call them out. Just because I'm a Power Rangers fan, it doesn't mean I always have to like someone or agree with everything. I'm going to speak the truth and be brutally honest, whether you like it or not.

I want to introduce everyone to a cosplayer who is a master of amazing cosplay mashups. His name is Mash Up Cosplay UK and he's one of my followers on social media. Cosplay Mashups
Whenever I'm on Facebook or Instagram, I love it when cosplayers have creative minds. In the almost four years that I've been doing cosplay, I've only done two cosplay mashups. I'll get to that shortly, but you must be wondering why cosplay mashups are popular. I'll give you one reason: they're a way to display your creativity to everyone. Most cosplayers spend hundreds of dollars and months to create the perfect cosplay. With that said, I'll now be sharing both of my cosplay mashups. I have written stories about DIYs and step-by-step instructions of both Zombie Mario and Punk Rock Superman, which you can check out right now.

'Mario Bros.' Review
Mario Bros., not to be confused with the 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game Super Mario Bros., was a platform game developed for arcades and by Nintendo in July 1983. I wasn't born around the time it was released. In 2016, Mario Bros. was one of 30 games included in the NES Classic. When I first played it, it was so much different than the other Mario games I've played in the past. It was not an easy game and the phases got difficult as the game progressed.

Power to LGBTQ+ Cosplayers Everywhere
June is the start of Pride Month and it's an important month for the LGBTQ community. Pride Month is celebrated every year in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots. It was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. Today, there are countless celebrations, parades, parties, workshops, and so forth that attract millions of people worldwide. I'm honoring this month by showing some love to my fellow LGBTQ+ cosplayers who I currently follow online or met in person. They deserve so much credit for inspiring others that they can be themselves. We go through the same things as everyone else, because we're not perfect.
