Wake Up
A collapse was inevitable, this had to be it. It was only perfect because we created it. For all the lies we told the, truths were pushed farther away. Buried underneath a false foundation. I was held in room, were the hope that you fed me gave me life, it might as well have been arsenic. The blame fell on me, for knowing better, but allowing it anyways. Always a glutton for my own punishment. The pain felt like a ton of bricks on my chest, unable to breathe. Then the realization hit, it was all just a bad dream, all I had to do to escape is open my eyes.
