She Keeps Calling
The senator's home phone was ringing again. He was seated on the patio out back, whiskey in hand. "Dammit, Kevin! She keeps calling!" shouted his wife from inside. "She has call centers now, honey. Funded by her billionaire donors," he replied.

The Great Stone Face
The Sabian Symbol for the 29th degree of Pisces is The Great Stone Face. I was recently researching the Sabian Symbols of the degrees of Pisces as Saturn has just entered this watery sign. Sabian Symbols are a set of 360 phrases, one phrase for each degree of the zodiac, intuited and recorded by medium Elsie Wheeler and astrologer Marc Edmund Jones in San Diego, California in 1925. When I picture this Great Stone Face, it gives me pause. It's quite an ambiguous image.

Mortui Verba
I'm hearing a great deal of talk about children's safety in society from a multitude of politicians across the United States. While this may sound like a perfectly appropriate and meaningful concern for any politician, I know that nothing these people do is done with sincerity. I know that these particular politicians don't actually mean what they say, even as they watch their own children find themselves in harm's way. This filth of political lip-service rises to my ears like an audible stench, and I am done listening to the cacophony of hollow care and concern for the innocent. This is vile, and I, Iuno, Regina Deorum, sentence the words of these politicians to death.

Real Magic
There's magic in meditation. We've been taught to believe magic is that fantastical display of lights shooting from wands while wizards and witches shouting Latin-esque phrases. But real magic is less of a show and more of a feeling, an awakening to the subtler energies that are all around us and a stepping into the flow of Universal energy. Meditation provides access to this flow.
