Marcella gasped in horror as I entered the ballroom. “You ought not try to push Mr. Jerrick’s nerves. It certainly isn’t a good idea. I would rightly have you go to your room and clean up, but I don't know if it is worse to make Mr. Jerrick wait or to have you looking like this for dinner”.

Manipulation
There have been many shameful moments in my life. As someone who has Borderline Personality Disorder and went undiagnosed the majority of my adulthood, I never really saw the error of my ways. I saw something. I wanted it, and usually, I got it. Sometimes, as we grow we need to accept the error of our ways.

Chapter 2: Clown
My room was my haven. I could tell that Mr. Jerrick, as criminal as his actions, took great care to ensure that the room was expertly crafted just for me. It was as if he knew every detail of my life. Maybe he truly does just want to take care of me. I quickly shook of those thoughts. I refused to become a martyr to Stockholm syndrome no matter how flattering Mr. Jerrick might be.
