Show Me
Show me what makes you tick. What makes you jump in the night. Show me your soul, the inner, most damaged parts of you. Show me what makes you feel inspired. Show me what makes you cry, what makes you happy, makes you smile. Show me what makes you laugh, that stupid laugh. The kind of laugh you would instantly know, even in a crowd at a comedy club. It was the kind of laugh that fixed you. A laugh that restored you. Show me so I can know you, so in the darkest parts of the Earth, I can find you.

Under the Stars
I didn’t know what to expect when you asked to meet me. I was nervous and excited, as anyone would be. But, I do know, throughout life we have a million chances to make one thing right and in life, we have one chance to make a million things possible. My only regret was not taking a chance on you sooner.

Falling for a Friend
I want to take all I love and press it like flowers in a book. I want to take all your insecurities and hang them to the fridge. I want to show you how proud I am of the person you are and who you are becoming. I urged so badly to spin you like a globe and drag my finger across. I wanted to discover every piece of you that you were hesitant to reveal to anyone else. When we share hidden parts of ourselves with one another, we’re trusting that person with secret sections of our hearts. I just wanted to love the bits you believed were unlovable.
